Mia Catra (Mija Katra) creates meditative, co-creative portraits that translate lived experience into symbolic visual form. Each work begins with conversation — a space of listening, reflection, and shared presence.
Through dialogue and intuitive symbolism, the portrait becomes a mirror: not only of who you are, but of who you are becoming.
Based in Ukraine, Mia’s practice deepened through personal loss and transformation. Over time, she developed a trauma-aware, contemplative methodology that gently holds memory, resilience, and identity.
More than 100 symbolic works have been created through this process — each one shaped by trust, attention, and emotional depth.
